About our Program

The Cardiac Rehabilitation at St. Joseph’s Hospital is the nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), an association dedicated to promoting excellence in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation services. Certification indicates that a program meets the essential requirements for standards of care as specified by the AACVPR national board. This reflects our continuing commitment to provide you with the highest quality care

Our Philosophy

At St. Joseph’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, we help people meet the challenges of living with heart disease. Our goal is to help restore your health and promote well-being after you have experienced a heart attack, heart surgery, angioplasty, stent placement, angina or other heart related problems. Successful rehabilitation involves mind, body and spirit so you will find our staff working diligently to provide just the right mix of lifestyle information, group support and exercise to meet the unique needs of each individual. 

Recovering at a Safe Pace

Recovering at a safe, steady pace is important. By adopting a healthier lifestyle and improving physical conditioning, participants can experience an increase in:
  • Energy for daily activities
  • Self-confidence to tackle life's challenges
  • Stamina and strength to enjoy life
  • Ability to return to occupational demands
Cardiac Rehabilitation is Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the length of the program is usually about 12 weeks (36 visits) depending on insurance coverage.

We offer educational classes to give you a clear understanding of heart disease and how to manage it including:

  • Increasing strength & endurance safely
