Tribute Gifts
…To Remember
Your gift in memory of a loved one is a lasting memorial. At a
time of loss and sadness, it is a way for you to show love and
respect, and to offer hope for the future. Your memorial gift to
the Foundation is a meaningful remembrance. You can invite others
to give by including these words in the obituary notice:
“In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carondelet
Foundation, 120 N. Tucson Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716-4740.”
…To Honor
You can make a tribute gift to recognize a special
occasion or accomplishment such as a birthday, marriage,
graduation, or recovery from illness. You can express your
thoughtfulness at holiday time, a wedding anniversary or the birth
of a child. These gifts may bestow an honor on a caring,
compassionate physician or nurse, and employers could use them to
recognize employees on special occasions.
Tribute Gift Acknowledgement
We will acknowledge each memorial or tribute gift with a card sent
to the person, or to the family of the person, in whose name the
gift was given. Gift amounts remain confidential.
As the donor, you will receive a separate acknowledgement as all
gifts to Carondelet Foundation are tax deductible to the extent
permitted by law.

your gift may be matched by your employer thereby doubling its
value to Carondelet Health Network. For more information, contact
your Employee Relations/Human Resources Office about eligibility
and how to request a matching gift.
PLANNED GIFTS / ESTATE GIFTS
Donors often include Carondelet in their estate and financial
plans. These gifts provide for the mission of Carondelet Health
Network well into the future. Planned gifts offer tax
and income advantages to donors and benefit Carondelet.
For example, gifts of long-term, appreciated property and
retirement assets may allow donors to avoid paying capital gains
and other income taxes while contributing the full value of their
asset. Other gifts, such as charitable remainder trusts, gift
annuities and gifts to Carondelet Foundation's pooled income fund,
allow beneficiaries to receive a lifetime of income in return.
Stocks, Bonds or Mutual Fund Shares
Gifts of appreciated securities may allow the donor to avoid
capital gains tax.

substantial gift upon your death while retaining your assets
during your lifetime and may eliminate or reduce federal estate
taxes.

Foundation, 120 N. Tucson Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716-4740 or call the
