Labor of Love
This series of classes is designed for the last three months of pregnancy. During the five-week course you will learn what to expect during labor and delivery and practice relaxation and breathing techniques that will help during the birth.

Hospital Birth Center Tour
Parents-to-be are invited to take a tour of the Carondelet Family Birth Center. Your tour will take you to one or more of the birthing rooms and to the Newborn Nursery.

This class, taught by certified breastfeeding specialists, will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully breastfeed your baby.

The Power in You
This course will teach you breathing and relaxation techniques for labor, along with comfort measures and coaching skills. You will be instructed on the use of labor aids, such as the squatting bar and the birthing ball.

Baby Daze
In this two-hour class you will increase your knowledge of baby care and come away with helpful hints that will make your first few months with your newborn easier.

Kidz Klass
By attending this class, your child(ren) will see where babies are born and how their role in the family may change with the arrival of the baby. Brothers- and sisters-to-be also tour the Maternal/Newborn Unit and make a stop at the window of the Newborn Nursery. It’s a
great way to help reduce a child’s anxiety about the upcoming addition to the family.

Infant CPR and Safety
Learn first aid techniques, infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to provide safe surroundings in this two hour class for new parents. These are
skills that are a must for parents and grandparents.

Pregnancy Wellness
A physical therapist from our physical therapy department will talk about back pain and postural support during pregnancy. Exercises for pain prevention and caregiver massage will be demonstrated.
