CARONDELET COMMUNITY TRUST

Carondelet Community Trust operates within the Carondelet Foundation and Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Arizona. Its mission is to collaborate with other area organizations to improve the health status of the community, especially the elderly and youth. Carondelet Community Trust (CCT) works with area agencies and organizations to identify, support and implement programs addressing specific and measurable health-related needs, in Pima and Santa Cruz Counties.

In 2004 Carondelet Health Network joined Ascension Health. Ascension is the largest not- for- profit Catholic health system in the country. As a part of our commitment to serve we now have the following 3 Calls to Action:

• HealthCare that Works

• HealthCare that Leaves No One Behind

In 2005 the CCT has focused all of its efforts towards working with other local agencies to address the issue of the health uninsured. As a result the CCT Council is not currently meeting.

CCT’s efforts have always been aimed at strengthening the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet: to provide for the health care needs of our community; embracing the whole person in mind, body and spirit; and to serve all persons without distinction.
