The Carondelet Foundation Board of Trustees has elected Ray Clarke to its membership.
Ray Clarke is the Southwest Regional Vice President of the Amity Foundation and Board President of the Dragonfly Capital Campaign. Amity Foundation is a nonprofit substance abuse treatment agency.
Well-known in the Tucson community, Clarke was formerly President and CEO of the Tucson Urban League. Prior to his service with the Urban League, Clarke was executive director of the Arizona Governor’s Council on Health, and deputy director of the Pima County Juvenile Court Center. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Clarke holds a Master of Science degree in public administration.
The mission of Carondelet Foundation is to engage the Tucson and Southern Arizona communities in philanthropy to support the vital work of Carondelet Health Network. Carondelet is the only faith-based, non-profit healthcare system in Southern Arizona. It serves a population of 1.5 million with four hospitals, 20 primary and specialty care practices, two ambulatory surgery centers, four imaging centers, Hospice and Palliative Care, and a variety of other outpatient services.
